What are F&F Recycling's hours of operation?

We are open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm. We are also open most Saturdays from 8am to 12pm. We are closed for most major holidays.

What is the latest time I can arrive at F&F Recycling and still be unloaded?

We can still unload if you are in the gate no later than 4:00pm. If you have several different commodities we prefer you to be here by 3:45.

What do I need to bring to sell scrap at F&F Recycling?

All customers are required by Kansas state law to bring a valid state or federally issued picture I.D. and be at least 18 years of age to sell scrap. You are also required by state law to sign a declaration stating that you are the lawful owner or authorized agent with permission given to sell the listed scrap metal items.

How does F&F Recycling handle payment for scrap materials?

We can offer up to $900 dollars in cash per day, per person from our onsite ATM machine. The remaining amount will be issued in a check.

What are the requirements to scrap a vehicle at F&F Recycling?

It is Kansas state law that we require a clean title with the vehicle unless it is 35 years old or older. However, if you do not have a title we would be able to accept the shell of the vehicle which would require the engine, transmission, doors and wheels being removed.

Does F&F Recycling resale materials to the public?

No we do not resale to the public.

Does F&F Recycling buy paper, plastic, and glass?

We do not buy paper, plastic or glass at this time.

Does F&F Recycling take Computer boards or parts?

We are now puchasing complete computer towers, laptops, cell phones, laptop batteries & cell phone batteries.  We are unable to buy monitors & printers.

Do you recycle the metal and objects that people bring in?

State and Federal regulations tell us what we are allowed to recycle, if and when an item is capable of being recycled, we make every effort to recycle it. We try to be good stewards of our local community and of our environment.
